We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for a new office building at Prestwick Park, marking the next step in the continued growth of our business community. The approved building forms the first phase of the wider employment allocation identified in the Northumberland Local Plan and will provide additional high-quality workspace for businesses looking to establish, expand and invest in the area.

The new building will provide approximately 680 square metres of office accommodation and could support up to 80 jobs. Designed as a contemporary addition to the existing business park, it will draw on the materials and character that make Prestwick Park distinctive, including local stone and metal roofing, while incorporating sustainable design measures and provision for on-site renewable energy.

Prestwick Park has been fully occupied for some time and we continue to receive enquiries from businesses attracted by the park's unique combination of high-quality workspace, rural surroundings and excellent connectivity. Located adjacent to Newcastle International Airport and close to the Metro network, Prestwick Park provides an ideal base for businesses serving regional, national and international markets.

Having secured planning consent, we are now looking ahead to the next stage of the project and hope to move forward with development during 2027. Interest in the new space is already encouraging, from both existing occupiers and businesses new to the park.
